Our History
Sebang Global Battery is founded in 1952 as the parent of the Naval Technology Research
Institute. Sebang is based on the management philosophy of "practice of creativity" and
"artificial cooperation" to charge tomorrow from the batteries that move today. We would like to
be a company that contributes to the development of clean energy.

We launched LONGEST, a battery exclusively designed for golf cars. Developed with proprietary domestic technology, it delivers 37% better performance than existing products.

Beginning and development of Sebang Global Battery
We changed our name to Sebang Global Battery, converted to a corporation, and established a foothold in becoming a bigger company.

Started the first step as the Naval Institute of Technology
The Naval Technology Research Institute, the foundation of Sebang Global Battery, was established in 1952. It was later renamed the Ocean Technology Research Institute and initiated research into battery technology.

The first battery company in Korea
The first battery company, with Korean technology, was established under the name of Jinhae Battery.
Sebang Global Battery established a U.S. corporation in August 2021 to continuously expand
its global business, especially increasing its influence in North America, the world's largest market
for lead-acid batteries. Through its U.S. office, we made real-time sales activities possible.
Sebang Global Battery NA is diversifying supply channels (Auto Parts Chain and Merchandisers)
by utilizing its logistics hubs and expanding house brand sales to local markets.
